Brawny Black Medical ID Band

Purchased this medical ID for my 19 year old so he could have something that would look business professional, yet still do the job of alerting people if he has a seizure. Love the engraving job!!! The engraving was MUCH more readable than I thought it would be. Very pleased overall with the band. Only things I did not like is that even though we ordered the men's size small, even when put as small as possible it is still too big for my son's wrist and slides around a lot. As long as he is wearing his wrist splint, however, my son puts the ID band behind the splint, so it is further up his forearm and then the size is fine. When we fist put it on, I was dismayed at how the excess swung out--even though I was planning on cutting off the extra as the instructions said. But when I read further, I read that you can rethread the buckle going the other way and have the excess run inside the band. This is what we did, and it completely solved the problem. We even decided not to cut any of it off--it no longer swung out, and that way we could have that extra length there if we wanted it to fit on top of his wrist splint. I do hope also that if an emergency happens, that the medical personal would know to undo the velcro on the one side of the metal ID tag and look to see what is engraved on the back side. Not super obvious that there is more information on the back. Overall, however, super pleased with this ID band! And best of all, my son likes it too!
