I love the bracelet. I bought for my 5 year old son who was just recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. He loves it, and feels really cool wearing it. Will purchase from them again! (Posted on 4/24/13)

The clasp on the bracelet feels like it would break easily, especially since it is a child's bracelet. The face of the bracelet doesn't seem very scratch resistant, it already has scratches. Doesn't seem very durable for children. (Posted on 9/7/12)

My son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes a few weeks ago. We thought it would be fun to let him help pick out a medical bracelet to wear, and this is what he picked. He was sooo excited when it came. It was easy to shorten (and the hint to melt the end of the strap was very helpful). The engraving looks great and everything seems to be very durable. We love it! My son picked out this bracelet for his peanut allergy and although the picture shows it with a Black Medical Symbol, my son really wanted the Gold Medical Symbol and wow does it look awesome! He enjoys wearing it. The length was a bit long so you will probably need to cut it down. The tricky part was I cut it down and tried to feed it through the buckle before I melted the nylon ends so when I put it through the buckle, the ends frayed a little. But, all was fine after I melted the ends in place. You may want to melt the ends prior to feeding the braclet through to ensure no fraying. (Posted on 1/25/12)

My son was so happy to get his new medical ID bracelet that he put it on the afternoon it came in even though we were all at home together. The flames band sold it for him at 8 years old. It is the perfect size for his wrist. He wears it almost daily, rotating with the Aztec band. He now has a wishlist for more bracelets. This was the one perk he got for having just been diagnosed with epilepsy. (Posted on 1/24/12)

This bracelet is durable. I have tried others and they didn't even last a month. My son is six and loves his bracelet.It adjust to fit his small wrist. The clasp is easy enough for him to take it off on his own. I had his name engraved in it and I love that you can buy other bracelts and just slide the slider with all his important information on it. (Posted on 12/7/11)

My son is 12 and although we always knew he had allergies, he recently went into anaphylactic shock after an allergy shot. He now has to carry epipens. My 12 year old was very concerned about the impact this will have on his social life. The fire band is cool and comfortable enough for him to wear everywhere and I know emergency personnel will have the info they need in case of an emergency. (Posted on 10/28/11)

So far we have been very pleased with this medical ID band. It is adjustable for the small wrists of my 6 yr old. I really like that the slider has the engraving on the bottom, so its less likely that the important information will get scratched beyond recognition.
