- I’ve had this bracelet for several months and wear it about once or twice a week. I ordered mine with the Contempo ID tag and not the Wave tag. Personally, I really like this bracelet. It’s comfortable, a nice weight and doesn’t pinch the skin. The only downside to this bracelet is you’re not to get it wet because of the leather. Of course, I only remember this after I’m in the shower and soaking wet. With that said, I have not noticed any damage or changes to the leather after it dries. This recommendation of not getting it wet makes it difficult to simply wash your hands, because you do get it wet. I’ve stopped worrying about it and simply dry it off as best as I can and it’s doing fine. I’ve received a lot of compliments on this bracelet simply due to its unique look. People do not notice it’s a medical ID bracelet. (Posted on 5/25/10)
